Pond bottom conditions deteriorate more and more after each aquaculture cycle.  Left unchecked over time, soil ecosystem becomes imbalanced and less and less productive and many times result in totally collapse.  The lack of underestanding of the complex soil ecology and other soil related problems are the reason why many farms undergo continually worse and worse aquaculture crop cycles in an alarmingly short period of time.  Good pond bottom ecology and productivity plays a critical role in the success of each aquaculture cycle.  Initial pond preparation, when done properly ensures prolonged successive generations of aquaculture.  This will also prevent drastic and more costly procedures to correct the problem when total soil ecology have collapse.  In the past decades, pond preparation requires drying, trenching and scrapping off of slime, muck and sludge which has accumulated after a cropping. Then there is the necessity of tilling and soil sampling to determine soil pH and other soil parameters and then to correct them.  These tedious procedures take quite an amount of lime and depend heavily on favorable weather conditions to accomplish them all.

• WHAT IS SUKAAQUA PREP?

  SUKAAqua PREP is a concentrated and powerful formulation designed specifically for pond preparation and pond bottom regulation purposes. Like our human houses, sound initial aquaculture condition is extremely important for the proper growth of aquatic animals. Many aquacultures fail because these preparatory factors were neglected at the onset of the project. SUKAAqua PREP was developed to correct the deficiency of the aquaculture soil and the water environment. It contains a huge concentration of selected strains of bacteria that can maintain and prolong the productivity of the pond soil and the aquaculture ecology. SUKAAqua PREP is applicable to saline and fresh water breeding of shrimp, crab, shellfish, fish, sea cucumber etc.

• BENEFITS:

  1. Improves the soil substrate, to prevent the pond bottom aging. 2. Degrades harmful organic substances and reduce disease occurrence. 3. Completely modify anaerobic environment of pond bottom for future breeding. 4. Effectively degrades the nitrite, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and heavy metals and other damaging chemical substances that accumulated in soil over time.

• APPLICATION & DOSAGE:

  1. Recommended dosage is 1 plastic container of the product for 5 to 8 acres of pond area. 2. Add sufficient lime in the pond bottom to adjust the pH above neutral then add water to 30 cm deep. 3. Dilute 1 drum of the product with 50 liters of water and let stand for 60 minutes. 4. Broadcast and spread all over the pond areas. 5. Allow pond water with the dispersed product to stand for 5 to 7 days, then, change the pond water. 6. Seven (7) days after application of the product, if pond water and soil still have a dark coloration, it is suggested to repeat the application at the same dosage rate for a second time. 7. If the pond water color becomes normal and soil quality is good, the pond is ready for use. Important Consideration: 1. Avoid mixing the product with bactericide, disinfectant, fungicide or other substances when using the product. 2. Do not expose this product to water or high moisture conditions. Use this product immediately after container is opened.

• CHARACTERISTICS:

  Appearance: Brown to light yellow powder (color does not indicate potency or activity of the product) Odor: Light fermentation odor

• STORAGE & SHELF LIFE:

  Store this product in a cool, well ventilated, dry place and away from direct sunlight. SUKAAqua PREP maintains its potency up to 5 years if properly sealed in the original container and considerably longer time when stored at lower temperatures (below 25°C but never freeze the product. Keep product out of reach of children.

• HANDLING:

  Wash hands with warm soapy water after handling. Do not directly inhale or ingest the product. Although there is no known adverse effect in handling SUKAAqua PREP, unnecessary contact with the product should be avoided for individuals who exhibit any reaction to it. As a precaution, avoid long term exposure to SUKAAqua PREP specially for individuals who may be sensitive to it.

• PACKAGING:

  SUKAAqua PREP is packaged in 250 grams per plastic container. Alternative packaging is available upon request.
